I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff members of the CWM Hospital, especially the surgeons, operating theatre staff members and not forgetting the Lancaster Ward staff members.

My wife Veneeta got admitted at the hospital on Monday, February 5, and was kept in Lancaster Ward.

She had her surgery on Thursday and was discharged on Sunday.

During her stay there, she was very well looked after. Before the operation the doctors very clearly explained to her what will be done inside her and a day after the operation the doctors again told her what was done and how she needs to look after herself.

A surgeon came to see her on Sunday after his church service to see her progress. According to him, he was praying all along the surgery because it was a very complex one but everything went fine.

The surgeon said even in church on Sunday he was praying for my wife because he knew how complex the surgery was and he thought my wife may not be well.

But when he saw my wife, he was surprised when he came to know that she would be discharged that day. He said it was a miracle.

After the surgeon left, Veneeta held my hand and started crying. Her words were "there are so many good people around who care for others, who go out of their way to help others and who make other people's life easy".

My reply was "when you are good, the whole world looks good to you".

Even the fellow patients were very nice to us.

Veneeta left the ward with tears in her eyes.

Once again, a big thank you to each one of you who helped my wife and to the Lancaster Ward staff members.

I salute you for your services. May God bless you all.
