Daunting task

The Ba soccer side is all ready for the 2018 O-League campaign in Vanuatu against Nalkutan FC, Lae City Dwellers and Tupapa Maraerenga.

The Men in Black, having represented Fiji 10 times in the O-League, came close to winning the title in 2017 but lost narrowly to NZ giants Waitakere United and ended up being runner-up.

Since then no local team has achieved what Fiji's traditional giants have achieved.

Nadi, Suva, Rewa and Lautoka have had mixed results in their O-League campaign.

Regardless of the district I feel that it is important that we show our support to Ba as the Western giants will be flying Fiji's flag at the O-League competition.

Ba needs everybody's support and prayers. If we can join hands to do this for our 7s team why can't we do the same for our local boys who will be donning the black jumper!

My best wishes to coach Ronil, technical adviser Yogen and the Men in Black for their O-League campaign.

Your records speak volumes of your status in Fiji. Go Ba, rock Vanuatu and make us proud!
