First Light Taveuni

A lot of coverage has been given to the Police sevens team that won the 2018 Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast Sevens.

Obviously, we have to give credit where credit is due, nevertherless, despite so many obstacles and very limited resources, the First Light Taveuni team's performance was awesome.

I hope both the Taveuni teams could merge and blossom like the unique Tagimoucia flower.

Extremely proud to be from this beautiful island.

Rule of law

Finally, it's over. I take my hats off to the magistrate. In his ruling, he has clearly highlighted that it is not a win for either party, but a victory for Fiji employment law.

I anticipate good sense will prevail.

I certainly hope that all the parties are going to respect and honour the ruling.

I only wonder what would have happened if the ruling was otherwise.

I believe those who had seriously cast doubt on this issue have a big slap on their face.

Fiji is still a democratic nation and rule of law is still prevalent.

ATS saga

Finally, the ATS lockout is resolved.

I believe it's not just a win for the ATS workers but it's a win for all the workers in Fiji.

To all the people who sacrificed their time and resources, I just want to say a big thank you.

Felix and Dan, you are the man for the workers.

Thank you!
