Fuel prices

I feel the increase of 12 cents per litre for petrol and 14 cents per litre for diesel is not in line with the world crude oil price.

Every time there is an increase, we are told that the demand has gone up and production has been reduced but I believe if you look at the world crude oil price per barrel, there is very little change. I believe the American dollar has also gone down in value against our dollar.

I believe also to be noted is that when there is an increase in our fuel price, it goes up in two figures but when there is a reduction, it comes down by a single digit.

Is this fair?
