Humbling moment

A very humbling moment was the walk through Nadi Town to support our brothers and sisters locked out at Air Terminal Services. My family enjoyed it.

The crowd applause into town was warm and the workers on the scaffolds bursting into cheers was special.

The big turnout was surprising despite many fears and limitations and the police was most accommodating and professional though very sympathising by their silent gestures.

May workers of this country continue to support each other directly or silently.

My seven-year-old daughter in the shower chants "open the gate ATS", "workers' rights, human rights".

Oilei, mosi ga na head.

Power to the workers and the people of Fiji.
