What a cracker tonight as the Babasiga Lions face a resurgent and changed Blues outfit for the return clash at Churchill Park. I pity the Labasa team which had to host the Blues under the scorching heat and I wonder why the Blues have been given the upper hand at Churchill Park as they will host the Lions at night, in much cooler conditions.

Blues mentor Kamal Swamy blamed the uneven surface at Subrail Park for his team's failure to beat the Lions but I tell you had the Lions not missed those sitters, they would have won on Saturday.

The Lions hold the edge as a 1-1 draw could give them the title based on away goals. The Blues know this too well and will be gunning for nothing more than a win and fans can expect the Blues and Lions to display a high standard of soccer. My best wishes to the Lions.

We did it in 2008 by winning the CVC crown from the Men in Black. Come on Labasa let's repeat that historic feat!
