As we step into 2018 today, may I take this opportunity to wish all a happy new year.

The year is very important because our second free and fair election is called under the new Constitution.

When talking of election, I would like to quote excerpts from the article "The Declaration of Independence" authored by Thomas Jefferson — We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.

Under our Constitution, electors get the opportunity to elect a new government every four years. If you are registered, I urge you to take part in the election.
