Getting it right on our roads

He raised the issue during the Road Haulage Association AGM at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Saturday.

Mr Piantedosi said an alarming number of traffic infringement notices (TINs) had been issued by the authority in the past eight months and should be a cause of concern for many.

In eight months, he said, the authority had issued 18,000 TINs. A growing number of road fatalities should also be warning enough to most to adhere to road safety rules.
