Bula spirit

It's been a while since we had a member of the Six Nations team grace our shores and to have two of them, well is simply rugby heaven.

On Saturday the boys put in a good effort against the mighty Azzurri, but I felt they could have done a bit more by being patient and stringing more phases, with the forwards grinding down the heavy Italians then opening it up after maybe four or five phases, as we would have loved to see more tries.

But alas even some of the ref's decisions were questionable, and in our own back yard mind you, a line-out throw that took about a minute and a half, or the stationary maul not being called or even a few knock on balls but hey that's to be expected.

So I ask the boys to dig deep and be more ruthless, show the visitors the bula spirit.

Also I call on the top dogs at FRU/FSC to at least give some free tickets to some clubs so they can send their players to make some noise on the ground, as the tourists were making more noise then us the locals. Let's give the boys some lung power this Saturday and make the ANZ Stadium a whitewash.

Toso Viti!
