Meet the

minister

It was good to catch up with our member of parliament in Lautoka.

Vinaka sir, but you should have stayed a bit longer.

Matawalu's

form

Nikola Matawalu has not been his usual best against the Wallabies and Azzurri. Maybe he needs a haircut. Dan Urai and I could do with some hair.

MP's

visit

As relatives and friends gathered after a funeral, it zoomed into the compound heavily tinted and majestically black. The minister pops out, apologises for not being able to stay longer shakes hands than leaves, warning Major (Allen Lockington) no hanky panky! The others watched in awe and respect, murmuring elections must be close.

Soccer

criticism

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said Fiji FA welcomes constructive criticism while talking to Raymond Stoddart the renowned soccer commentator. I would like to suggest to Rajesh Patel to ask Raymond Stoddart to join your association as an adviser.

Road

humps

I believe it is ridiculous of the FRA to assert "road humps is the last resort" as a request of the village headman of Nabavatu for road humps in regards to the paramount safety of their children was a last chance (FT 13/6).

Anyway, please do allow the village to use ropes to be laid on the road that will slow down speeding and negligent drivers in the meantime if road humps are too costly and until they wait for the day all other preference of FRA's safety measures fail to work.

Festival

poll

I wish Tebutt would do a poll on the last days of a festival to gather information on how the vendors are doing and how many days the people go there and how much they spend.
