Now, we can all make our assessment based on conflicting statements by politicians regarding the cane belt and the real scenarios as told by farmers to The Fiji Times' hardworking journalists.

There are interesting reports around the country that need to be explored and presented to the public than concentrating on party politics which now seem to be the dominant reports in the local media.

Also the island articles as reported by Sikeli Qounadovu also needs acknowledgement and we look forward to your newspaper to report interesting articles as it unfolds within the four corners of our country.

Vinaka vakalevu to all the hardworking The Fiji Times journalists who brought all these interesting reports straight into our homes.
