VAT on food items

I believe the attorney-general needs to come down to reality and see if he can feed his family with the price of food with VAT being implemented on basic food items while earning $60-$80 a week.

It is meaningless by increasing the threshold on income tax while at the same time implementing VAT on basic food items.

Like removing money from your left pocket and putting it into your right or wrong for that matter.
