Walkways

over roads

BUILDING walkways over busy roads is a solution to safely cross roads without obstructing traffic flow in busy areas. How imaginative does one need to be.

Poor TV

reception

MOST part of Hollander St, Pickering Place and Marlow St are not getting proper signals from Fiji TV and FBC TV and Sky Pacific is no longer broadcasting Fiji one news, nor can they add Fiji TV station as a program in its channels. The only reason I subscribed to Sky Pacific was for clear picture and local news and for my children to be on par with the local current affairs. Can the minister responsible look into this issue because it's affecting the residents of this area.

Facebook

users

THOUGHTFUL, creative, mind boggling, foolish, irritating, boastful, and list goes on.

The amount of time people spent on Facebook is unimaginable, unbelievable, non thought provoking, unproductive, and the list Uns and Non is enormous

So say amen if you agree. So you've said it.

Road

humps

THERE are two humps at Balawa Cemetery Rd. What purpose do they serve?

I am told that humps are usually put near schools and villages.

Humps are a nuisance, especially if they are unnecessary.

I'am curious. Why are there humps placed where there are no schools or villages?

Invest

in bikes

CONSIDERING the long entourage of cars to work and school every morning just drives the thought of investing in either a motorbike, scooter or bicycle. It sure will be fun to manoeuvre around in limited space and getting to work on time. No need to worry about parking space. I think employers will now need to seriously think about providing provision for bike parking if we are to take that approach. Raja, this will be a good business opportunity. Lello.
